Served on tap at the brewpub, 10 oz tulip pour. Color is a bright, sunny orangish yellow that practically glows. Thin ring of foam. Nice aromas of banana, clove, spices, with nice lemon/citrus /apple notes. Flavor follows, with a fresh-squeezed lemon/white grape flavor bursting forth over typical Belgian notes of banana, clove, bubblegum, apple, pear, spice, and white bread/biscuit. Zippy and floral hops. A great twist on my favorite style.

A - Pours a hazy golden orange with a one finger creamy white head. Good amount of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is Belgian yeast, honey, lemon, pear and clove.

T - The taste follows the aroma. Candied lemon upfront followed by Belgian yeast, pear, apple, honey and biscuity malts. There is a light white pepper spiciness in the finish.

M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Crisp smooth mouthfeel with a sticky finish.

O - Really enjoyable American Tripel. The lemon adds a nice mix of sweet and sour. Definetly recommended.

22 ounce bottle into chalice, 2015 vintage bottling. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy bright orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and bready/candi sugar malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of herbal/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, pepper, clove, cracker, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and bready/candi sugar malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast spiciness balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice tripel style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and bready/candi sugar malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
