Light amber to copper in color with a nice toasted malt characteristic up front from the use of Vienna malt. This brew is balanced on the back end with just the right amount of hop bitterness.

Thank you superspak for this
16 can poured into a mug
A- A clear golden copper with a two finger white head.
S- Caramel malts, some honey, toasted malts, a little earthy, not bad but very straight forward.
T- Camarillo malts, a little nutty, toasted malts, some honey, touch of earthy hops.
M- Smooth, light body.
O- Not a bad Oktoberfest, but it is a little one dimensional.

This one is just one of the worst examples of the style from the only saving grace that is has some average flavor for it. This is worse than the Sam Adams version but it has no redeemable qualities to it.

16 ounce can into dimpled mug, canned on 7/30/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, nuttiness, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A touch of fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balanced of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, and lightly toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of honey, nuttiness, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey/nuttiness, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes present. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very good festbier style. All around nice robustness and balance of bready malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the mellowly/bitter drying finish. Very flavorful for the ABV, and not overly sweet. Nicely clean and rich Pils/Munich malt showcase, with solid noble hop presence/balance. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.
