New England-ish Style IPA brewed and dry-hopped with a plethora of Nelson hops. It’s a juicy one that opens with big fruity notes on the nose and finishes pillowy and smooth with the tropical linger of Nelson hops.

Look: More of a New England Hazy appearance.
Smell and Taste: Like rancid orange juice and not in a good way.
Feel: Felt like I just swallowed nasty orange juice.
Overall: Would not recommend. Most of Griffin Claw's other beers are better.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a tulip glass. Half inch head that dissipated rather quickly. Did provide good lacing. Soft mouth feel. Was a tad drier than most NEIPAS , plenty of orange and grapefruit, perhaps too much for my tastes .
Willing to give it another chance.

A - Copper and hazy orange with sheets of sudsy head.
S - Dank, Apricots, peach, piney.
T - Fruit forward, quickly met with resinous hops. Apricots, orange peel, piney, earthy. Mouth feel is chewy and dry. Lingering bitterness on the back end. The balance and feel is all off on this one.
O - This seems like a good idea, but it didn't materialize. Just doesn't come together as a cohesive brew. I would recommend maybe getting a single or a sample at the brewery, but I wouldn't buy this again.

Can to snifter. Look is a brown orange and hazy. A bit darker than most IPAs. Smell is bright grapefruit zest. Taste is brilliant juicy grapefruit, much more sweet notes than bitter. In fact, very low bitterness, only slightly in the aftertaste. Very little malt backbone. Feel is soft, carb lowish. Overall I am very impressed with this one and would be happy to see it stick around.
