The beer is a very dark brown color poured from the can. When held up to a light, I get a faint hint of amber shining through the darkness. The head is quite thick. It was 3 finger at most, and tan colored. There's some great lacing on the glass as the head dissipates. It took 3 attempts to fully fill my glass.
The nose is fairly mild. I am not really getting much on it. I mostly get is a faint grain aroma. Very faint hint of caramel on a second smelling of the beer.
Oh, wow is what I keep saying about the flavor. I get such a chocolate flavor from this beer. It's not too sweet tasting, but is more of a milk chocolate than dark. Tons of caramel also make an appearance. I get some coffee as well in this beer that shows up on the back side. This provides a roasted flavor, and a slight bitterness to it.
The body is quite good and full in this beer. Very smooth feeling.
Damn delicious.

Dark brown, noticeable around edges; creamy light brown head, nice film persists with denser islands here and there. When held to light shows some great clarity.
Dry slightly over toasted bread on the noseā¦minor hints of sweetness, a woodsy earthy coffee note, and a slight beeriness.
Taste brings a much more prominent richness, very light but noticeable bit of sweet, and over toasted bread; lingering roast hangs in the aftertaste with damp earthy undertones. The aftertaste is very enjoyable in this beer to me very bold yet balanced.
Light-medium body, pretty soft and creamy on the tongue; low to moderate perfect bit of bitterness on the finish; nice finish too, mostly clean and dry.
A great rich but yet very well balanced dark lager; try this one if you see it. Thanks for sending my way Craig.

Still a novice to the style so take this with that in mind.
Poured deep burgundy, almost black but definitely reddish hue when held to the light. The beige head was dense and foamy, lacing in sheets that slid down to the liquid.
The aroma was lost on my damaged nose, sorry.
The taste though, wow. Malts forward with chocolate and coffee (mild, like breakfast blend) and not biscuits so much as general bread like flavor. The hops are present but subtle. Very little bitterness. The alcohol is not noticeable.
The feel is smooth and soft, glides down the throat.
OA, this needs to be tried by more people!
