This one pours a very dark black color, with a very small head, and no lacing.
This smells super sweet and artificial marshmallows, although marshmallow is pretty artificial to begin with.
It’s a little bit less sweet than the aroma promised, but it still really leans a bit syrupy tasting. It’s super chocolatey and fudgy, in a really nice way, but the marshmallow and vanilla just add a somewhat unpleasant cloying sweetness.
This is too thick and syrupy, and very lightly carbonated, and just not all that drinkable.
It was somewhat of a mistake to buy all these Flying Buffalo variants, as I’ve just not really enjoyed any of them.

Every year Griffin Claw has a mixed 4 pack of BBA Imperial Stouts, 3 of which are usually along the pastry stout style. This year (2024) followed that pattern.
Rocky Road, has plenty of chocolate, marshmallow, nuts and vanilla. Some vanilla and bourbon sneaked in too.
The feel is a little on the lighter side, but well within the expectation. Mine at least.
OA, it’s a tasty stout, not too sweet at all. Still think I like the non-pastry stout better but it conveys the flavors as advertised.

Pours jet black with no head on top. Very sweet smell with vanilla and marshmallow! This is exactly like having rocky road ice cream. Very sweet and hint of barrel in the after taste.
