Aged 9 months in bourbon barrels, this luxurious Imperial Stout blends bold chocolate notes with Middle Eastern-inspired flavors. Lactose adds creaminess, while pistachio, tahini, and toasted kadayif bring nutty sweetness and depth. Rich, smooth, and decadently unique.

Unbelievable on draft (I hope I can get some canned). Of all of the many BBAs I've had, this one stands out. Huge nose with a wonderful mix of aromatics that carry through to the finish. I normally enjoy beer at home, but couldn't resist this on draft at a great restaurant. Perfect compliment to a rare Wagyu burger, but I'd love to nurse a snifter at home over a couple of hours (if I could hold out that long). The only downside is the 13.7 ABV. Why can't anyone get this kind of flavor in a more sessionable beer?!

Smells fantastic. Mouth feel is too sticky. Overall it tastes good and for the high abv it doesn't have an alcohol burn but that may be my tolerance.
The pistachio smell should be there from the Dubai chocolate and I get the nuttiness but I seem to notice cherry too. Maybe it's the tartness in the taste that reminds me of a chocolate covered cherry.

Pours a dark brown with no head on top. Somehow smells like toasted pistachios? And a hint of bourbon. Has a raspberry taste? I’ve never had Dubai chocolate before so I don’t know what to expect. I’m thinking of baklava maybe? Still really delicious.

Wow, is this a fantastic variant of an already great beer!! HUGE flavor and all the players are present, although the barrel does get a bit lost with everything going on, which would be my only gripe.

There is a very strong coconutty note at the beginning of each sip that I’m guessing is coming from the toasted kadayif and/or tahini but as it fades the creaminess of the pistachio comes forth.

The nose has this hit of coconut too, but also there are huge wafts of almond that are quite nice.

I am surprised that - while certainly on the sweeter side - this isn’t nearly as sweet as many heavily-adjuncted stouts I’ve had to date. Would definitely recommend trying this one if you can.
