Vibe: I've been sporadically coming to this supermarket for the past ten years or so but recently stopped in and was shocked to see a huge beer selection to the left of the cashiers right after you step off the escalator. They also have growler fills for the beers on-tap. The store itself is brightly lit and is open late (until midnight every day except until 11 pm on Sundays).
Quality: As this supermarket is located in the basement, all of the beers are stored out of any direct sunlight.
Service: Being a supermarket, I wasn't expecting much in the way of service. I didn't try to get a growler filled but assume it wouldn’t take too long because they are right near the cashiers instead of being in a back corner portion of the store.
Selection: In addition to the standard BMCs, this supermarket offers a diverse selection of domestic craft beers and imported beers. I was really impressed to see a bunch of foreign beers from Baltika, Brauerei Leikeim, and The Celt Experience Brewery that you typically won't see at other stores in Manhattan. The supermarket had three beers on-tap, one of which was from Founders.
Value: Prices for beers were very reasonable compared to other stores in the area and the prices for growler fills are really a bargain. They had a promotion giving away free growler jugs with fills when I was there.
