I thought this was pretty decent while not mind-blowing. Sure there are better ones out there but I would not be disappointed to have this again. A little more depth would help.

Thin black, almost no head, some bubbles. Aroma is cloying sugar, syrup and vanilla, nice though. The sweetness of it stings just smelling it, hard to describe. Has an un-fermented wort smell to it.
Taste follows through on the nose with oak and some chocolate roast, but this is way way too sweet, bordering on diabetic, with a lot of soy sauce and umami flavor. Super boozy and hot, tastes like someone dropped a bourbon shot into an imperial stout next to a fireplace. Unbalanced.
