Got in a BIF from Ozzylizard. 16 ounce can into Willibecher glass, canned on 9/22/2022. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden yellow color with a 1 finger foamy and fluffy white head with great retention. Nice spotty soapy lacing and streaming carbonation on the glass. Aromas of some pear fruits, grain, light honey/herbal/grass. Pleasant. Taste of big cracker, bread dough, herbal, wood, grass, pepper, light pine/pear fruits. Light-medium pine, herbal, grassy bitter finish. Medium carbonation and light body. Crisp, clean, refreshing finish. Balanced grainy malt and sticky hop mouthfeel. Nearly bone dry finish, no lingering hop astringency. Perfectly clean lagering. Incredibly well made to style.

Gold pour, fairly clear, white head disappears quite quickly. Nose is malty and yeasty.
Taste has an unusual mild banana quality, bready, light kilned malt, a touch of earthiness, and a mild woody bitterness. Finish is fairly dry
A nice beer, but maybe more in the Kellerbier range than a Helles for me.
