Acceptable beer from Brasserie Licorne. Slightly malty flavor, decent color. Slightly higher alcohol level. While traveling to the border region of France from Germany, we picked up a 4 pack with glass on a closeout in April for a good price! Thus, I can't complain!

Draught beer (25 cl.), tasted in 2008.
Appearance : amber/red color with white foamy head (not persistent).
Smell : malty nose with notes of caramel.
Taste and mouthfeel : sweet with caramel flavours, slightly bitter finish.
Drinkability : a not impressed beer in the style Christmas lager.

Its beginning to look a lot like christmas. Its jolly noël colour, this dark red that gets you in the mood, fools you. No head though, but not necessarily a bad sign.
Its beginning to smell a bit like macro...
No nice tones to the smell. conventional malty perception blended with some hops.
Its beginning to taste a bit like...crap
Bof. Mediocre watery perception, nothing but a semi bitter borderline lager/ale sorta thing. Slightly bitter at the end. No carbonation. somewhat malty, yes, but rather poorly.
Its definetly not gonna be my christmas pick.
