Copenhagen 28/11 2021. 75 cl corked bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Stylized red (!) snowflakes and small white stars on the label.
Pours clear, dark amber with a mid-sized, off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet, sugary, malty odor mingling with a modest sour scent. Lightly toasted malts, dark fruits and toffee. Hints of brown sugar. Whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a surprisingly strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit rough with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
A tad too sugary but with a redeeming bitterness at the very end.

750 ml corked & caged bottle, as Licorne Noël Bière de Saison, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.8%. Beautiful deep reddish brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Moderate aroma of malts, brown bread, caramel, brittle. Malty flavour with the same elements, spicy and dry finish.

On tap. Deep amber color with beige head. Aroma has slightly caramelized malts, toasted grains and brown sugar. Taste is sweet, malty and sugary with a light earthy note on the finish. Medium minus body with medium carbonation. Too sweet for my taste.
