Beer bottle (33cl.), tasted in 2006.

Appearance : amber color, with abundant foam head, short persistency.
Smell : discreet, fruit?
Taste & monthfeel: attack ample and generous, fruity dominant, very quiet bitterness being felt only on the final.
Drinkability: an average beer, in the style Belgian amber ale.

Disappointing head on an opaque ruby color body. Aromas of sweet caramel malts , wooden notes of distilled cherries. The taste is syrupy, sweet and a little gluey, even though the mouthfeel is really thin. Red fruits, and a dry alcoholic finish that is reminiscent of cocoa and cherries. Lasting chewy hoppiness. It tastes fake, there’s probably something that gets added. The brewery seems to have issues with the head retention, and the balanced of their brews.
