Looks and smells like a Belgian brune, hints of prune and molasses. Sweet, but flavor is on the light side, not much palate either in taste or mouthfeel, No hint at the 6% ABV either. Easy to drink, not heavy, but not memorable either.

Picked up a bottle at Galeries Lafayette in Paris. The bottle has a Christmas-ey picture of some kids walking around a snowy village in clogs. No bottled-on date.
A- Pours a hazy brown toffee color with red highlights. Produces a bubbly tan head that fizzles quickly.
S- Spices, some caramel malt and brown sugar.
T- Similar to the nose, big dose of spices, caramel malt backbone does reasonably well, some grain and an almost metallic taste in the background as well as some fruitiness (apple). Finishes with fruit and sugar sweetness.
M- Medium bodied, well carbonated, crisp, prickly feel.
O- A decent spicy winter beer, better than I was expecting, good drinkability and price. Worth a try for those chilly winter days.
