From the brewer: Our Pineapple IPA packs a delicious balance of flavor into a unique and high-gravity package. A basic grain bill comprised mostly of organic two-row and white wheat malt, with a handful of specialty grains provides a strong body for this brew. Northern Brewer and Columbus hops provide the bittering while more Columbus, Chinook, Cascade and Centennial hops add aroma.
This brew was re-fermented with the natural sugar added from 30 fresh pineapples to boost the ABV and add a striking pineapple aroma. Organic Brazilian tropical blossom honey was selected to strike a balance between bitter, tart and sweet while giving a smooth mouth feel that obscures the seriously high gravity.
