A classic hop-forward ale. All the C-hops with some Franco-Belgian specialty malts to keep it multidimensional. Round palate, firmly bitter from start to finish

Poured from can into a Weizen glass. Might be even better in a wine glass I think. Color is golden straw, nice head, good lacing. Aroma has a certain special something about it, reminds me of dandelions. Flavor is very good, hoppy but not outrageous. Maybe a bit of sea salt on the back end. Complex but inviting. Mouth feel is kinda unusual here. Feels a bit slippery, but not oily. All in all, it reminds me of NE pales more so than something like a Trappist Belgian. Kind of a hybrid I guess. Overall it is a very good and interesting brew.

Hazy gold with a strong head and superior lacing. Fresh citrus hop nose. Sour Belgian yeast and resinous hops to taste. Lighter body. IPA hops meets Belgian yeast. Pleasant satisfying full mouthfeel. Revisited in December 2024 and is still an excellent satisfying beer. I always include a 4-pack of these with any of my orders from them.

Picked this one up at Cristall Wine Merchants. 650 ml bottle.

A: golden and cloudy with hazy off-white head
S: Belgian yeast, a wee bit funky, some tropical fruit
T: honey followed by a mild but lingering bitterness
F: on the heavier, creamier side
