As expected with a new brewery, the attributes were all over the place. the creaminess of the mouth feel as outstanding. Poured from a 22 oz bomber, the color is brown/orange with a cream colored head that is 2 finger high and relaxes to .5 fingers and remains throughout the beer. There were some spices in the flavor profile that I did not love, but to be honest, they were blended well. Coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg lead the way with a bit of hops on the finish. This autumn ale is a boarder line autumn pumpkin mix. This is the first time I have seen and tried a beer from Do Can I will revisit another beer from this brewery.

new brewery from Lowell, neat... this an autumn ale on a frigid cold day, in the 20s with 45mph wind gusts, and single digits tonight, football on TV, the ode to autumn seemed like a good one to drink.
Pours a big creamy frothy 1.5 finger head that fades at a med pace then slows, leaves lots of lacing on the sides, a dark molasses mahogany brown color with bits of ruby light sneaking through.
Nose starts very yeasty, tons of yeast like nosing the trub, with that is a little crackery bready kinda aroma, eventually I can get some brown malts and a little brown sugar, a little candy caramel like, hint of raw molasses, mild earthy hops as well, but hard to get anything behind all the yeast.
Taste starts a bit better, more of the malts and sweet characters first, brown sugar and raw molasses, light nutty toffee, fluffy brown malts with caramel. Then right back into the yeast again, a yeasty flavor with lots of yeast and little cracker. There is a mild bitterness with little earthy hop character, and hint of chewy hops. The malts are somewhat creamy which is a nice touch at least, and some toasty brown malt characters. Finish dries a bit, that yeast first starts to flair up again, then seems to just about disappear, and makes way for big hops finally, fairly bitter with earthy little spicy hops, touch of chewy hop character too, and bit of brown sugar and creamy malts lingering.
Mouth is med bod, little creamy, lots of carbonation maybe too much too as it gets a little distracting.
Overall not too good. It seems like the base beer would have been nice but so much yeast just overpowers everything and makes this beer hard to even drink. I do like the malt and hop characters that ARE in there, but the yeast... they even write on the bottle that this was an accident, but it seems to me like a beer that went wrong and instead of calling it a loss they just bottled it and called it an Autumn beer, and this should not have gone out as a product. You're representing your brewery as a brand new brewery and this is what you're selling? If I hadn't already bought the pale ale I'd probably not buy anything else from them.
