A crisp easy drinking Pils with just enough hopping for bitterness and a flavorful compliment to the malt. Put up your dukes!

A good tasting pilsner. Nothing special or outstanding but something to drink that is by no means bad. It has a very thin pale yellow appearance, not much to smell, and a very dry flavor profile with some initial sweetness and spiciness that gives way to a minty, papery, slightly astringent finish. None of this is bad, but the papery dryness might not fit the bill for all pilsner fans. If I was at any brewpub and was served this I'd say they did a good job, but nothing to write home about. Hey, it's alright, likeable but not lovable.

This one was a little disappointing. It was okay and it looked nice but it was lacking something that good pilsners have. It lacked the crispness and sharpness of some pilsners. There was a nice lighter malt flavor and the hops helped support that malt. There was a slight citrus flavor form the hops but nothing overwhelming.

Appearance: Pours a pale, lightly clouded, lemony yellow that looks like a lemon tea with a massive, sticky and lacy white head that lingers.
Aroma: Aroma has lemon and pineapple citrus. Also a tart apple, pear, or red wine grape quality to it. Not detecting much malt.
Flavor: Taste follows the nose with a good amount of lemon and pineapple citrus. A little bit of grass. Sort of like a lemongrass and pineapple combination. There is a fair amount of tartness that is slightly astringent. A pale graham cracker yeast flavor. Finishes sweet, not bitter. But the tartness is what cleans off the sweetness.
Feel: Lighter bodied. Highly carbonated and yeasty. It finishes sweet rather than dry, but the prickly carbonation and tartness clean the palate.
Overall: This is far from a German Pilsner. I would have pegged this beer more as an American Wheat. It has more American citrus flavors than noble hops. Tart rather than bitter. Yeasty. Yet, the it does the body right and its highly carbonated and crisp. A pretty good beer, but not what I would peg as a German Pilsner, and lower rating b/c it misses the style.

Light and clear yellow with some quickly disappearing cloudiness and lingering foam. Scent features grass, grains, little biscuit malt, and a hint of mulberry amongst the malt. Taste is dirtier, with tons of malt, yeast, and grains, some earthiness, but overall not crisp. Sneaky heavy body for a german pilsner, and sweeter too. It's ok for the right mood

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high frothy white head that died down a bit but left a large patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, a thin film on the surface in between, and some streaks of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grainy malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of grainy malts along with hints of grassy hops and a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This pilsener is very easy to drink as it isn't that heavy on the palate. It has a good balance between the malts and hops in the taste.
Serving type: can

12oz can, pours a pale golden color with a creamy white head. Biscuity grain meets grassy Noble hops for aroma. Nice balanced flavors with notes of biscuity Pilsner malt, earthy & grassy hops and a moderate sharp bitter yet clean finish. Overall, good example of a German Pils.

Bright yellow in color. Fairly hazy in appearance. Toasted grain malt profile. Pilsner malt, grassy, spicy noble hop bitterness. Light, crisp and refreshing. Easy drinking, but flavorful. Pleasant amount of sweetness. Nice.
