A barrel-aged robust porter, brewed exclusively for our Founder's Club. Aged 6 months in Willett and Quincy Street bourbon barrels.

22 ounce bottle into a snifter. Released 8/18/20, had 8/22/20.
Pours near black and opaque, with no head and some fleeting specks of cling. Aromas of chocolate, bourbon, oak, leather, toffee, malt, smoke, some vanilla. Flavors of bourbon, leather, oak, chocolate, malt, some caramel and smoke. Smooth, a good but somewhat thin feeling full body, well carbonated.
Good, but not quite as good as the original Nefarious Aftermath, which this is honoring. The barrels are solid and give up some interesting aromas and flavors, but it is thin. Still, it’s certainly enjoyable. Have one bottle to age, will update this if helpful.
