Imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels with chocolate & coconut.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 11/6/20, had 6/30/21.
Pours a mostly opaque dark brown, with a quarter inch foamy head and light foamy lacing. Aromas of chocolate, coconut, lightly roasted malt, vanilla, light oak, caramel as it warms. Flavors of chocolate, coconut, bourbon, malt, vanilla, some oak, caramel as it warms. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
The chocolate and coconut pop out, great aromas and flavors. The barrels are restrained, but have some impact. Solid effort, very enjoyable.

S: sweet milk chocolate & lactose, coconut, vanilla, oaky bourbon
T: rich chocolate, coconut, vanilla, lactose, boozy bourbon, oak
F: full body, lower carbonation, sweet finish
O: this was good, but needed some carbonation
