12 ounce can into a snifter. Released 11/2021, had 6/12/22.
Pours near black and opaque, with a one inch foamy head and thin foamy lacing. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, malt, some chocolate, light pistachio as it warms. Flavors of bourbon, cocoa, vanilla, malt, chocolate, light oak, faint pistachio, a hint of saltiness. Smooth, a very good full body, well carbonated.
Very good, but the pistachios and salt have little presence. Lots of vanilla from the barrels, though.

L: jet black body; thin brown head dissipates quickly
S: boozy bourbon, roast, caramel, oak, vanilla
T: smooth flavors - smoothest of all 4 of the variants; dark roasted barley, dark chocolate, bourbon, oak, vanilla, caramel, lactose, faint pistachio, not picking up any salt but that’s ok
F: full body, modest carbonation, sweet finish
O: this was my favorite of the four. Less sweet and better balance…maybe the salt had something to do with that
