The final release of our 10th Anniversary Barrel Aged series is a boozy, thick stout. A chocolate cherry cordial aroma kicks off the experience. Big chocolate and vanilla notes will be found in the first sip followed by bourbon and some dark fruit. The rye adds a ton of body and a touch of spiciness in the taste.

12oz can dated 11/13/23 poured into a snifter shows a lightless, dark brown body, cola colored only at the very edge and barely floats a thin cap of cocoa powder colored tight bubbles that disappear leaving nothing but a skating rink.
Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, stone fruit, and roasted malts are enveloped in rye, oak, and caramel and flow cleanly into the taste. Bitter roast chocolate with a rye sidecar.
Near creamy, full mouthfeel compliments the sweetness yet the rye tempers it.
Overall the rye barrels add to and compliment the base stout.

12 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 11/13/23, had 4/14/24.
Pours a mostly opaque dark brown, with a short head and light foamy cling. Aromas of rye, vanilla, oak, chocolate, bourbon, roasted malt. The flavors are much alike: bourbon, rye, oak, roasted malt, chocolate, some vanilla, a little caramel. Has a spicy taste. Smooth, a very good full body, well carbonated.
The rye is the star here, and the barrels are really good too. Me, I get lots of oak, as well. Has a solid, flavorful base. Best fully warmed. Very enjoyable.
