Pours a very light golden wheat color. Somewhat cloudy. Thick tight frothy head dissipates slowly and unevenly leaving a hill of white foam on top of the beer.
Smell is just mostly spicy yeast with some tropical fruit hop aromas and some grassy notes blended in. But mostly just yeast.
Taste follows the nose with lots of spicy yeast, some bitter tropical hops and a cracker malt backbone. Don't get too much in the way of a distinctive apricot flavor, but I suspect it blends into that tropical almost melon-y hop flavor. Bitter on the back end, but not overly so.
Feel is light and drinkable. Moderate carbonation.
Decent beer - the apricot wasn't super noticeable (that could be good or bad depending on your preference), and its really yeast forward. Alright beer - probably wouldn't drink it again.

Got a six pack as a gift. Will be having just the one, because this is not a belgian pale, rather a gummy ale with a acidic apricot on the end. Just dreadful for 75% of the taste, until those bready apricot first hits, but before the acidity. The feel is way to thin for a belgian feel. Just not that good, could choke down one, but no way having 6

Poured 12oz bottle into a tulip. It is a hazy, bright yellow color with a 1.5 finger white head. Aroma is slightly tart with hints of apricot, along with herbal and yeast notes. Flavor is a light tartness with yeast that finishes slightly fruity and spicy. Feel is very light that finishes crisp with lingering dryness. This is decent and has some earthy qualities of a saison with nice fruity apricot accents.

1st review ever! This is not an American Pale Wheat Ale. It states on the label it is Belgian Pale Ale. That being said it is unlike any Belgian Pale or IPA I've tried. In my opinion it is more like a gose or a sour, as none of the normal bret flavor is present and the hops flavor is virtually nonexistent. Poured cloudy in the glass, sour to the sip with a dry finish. I won't be having this one again, as I am a hop head!
