Pretty pink champagne coloring with a touch of opaqueness. Just a think film of off-white bubbles on the head of the beer, with no visible carbonation, providing almost zero lacing. About what you’d expect, looks-wise, for a cherry-infused sour, but a little boring.
Extremely mild nose, very grassy and tart. Hints of fresh cherry, but just barely. More pithy and funky and floral.
Taste follows, but there’s a very nice punch of tart fruit (more wine grape and lime, to me, but there is a cherry or berry note lurking in there) and then a wonderful salinity that makes it seem more flavorful than I think it really is. Grassy and light, just a hint of bitterness, sourness, and sweetness, which all play well together. Very understated, but very drinkable.
Feel is soft and (surprisingly) well carbonated (given that I don’t see any carbonation), with slightly more mouthfeel than I expected.
Maybe I’m feeling generous, but my overall takeaway is a bit better than the sum of the beer’s parts. Certainly not wowing me with standout components, but it’s a nice, low key dipper if you’re in the mood for something faintly tart and fruity.

Deep Cove Brewers 'Cherry Kettle Sour' @ 4.3% , served from a 473 ml can
A-pour is light pink from the can to a almost clear pink in the glass with a small off-white head leaving a minimal spotty lace ring along the tulip
S-hints of cherries
T-tart , somewhat refreshing
MF-ok/mild carbonation , medium body
Ov-just an ok sour beer
