Saison Je' Peach is a barrel-aged version of our Saison. It is aged in wine barrels with peaches, brettanomyces, and lactobacillus for 6 months. This brew emerges tart and dry with notes of fruit, spice, oak and the perfect touch of brett funkiness.

L: Slightly hazy piss yellow with a white head to a thin ring.
S: Bright and clean with some peaches. A bit buttery.
T: Butter comes out more here. Peaches are fine. It's good but lacking.
F: Average here. Don't remember it much but light and a bit light on carb.
O: Solid saison that stands out with the peach addition, but there are better acidic beers with peaches out there.

500ml bottle into tulip. Batch #1.
A: Pours a clear light golden with an unimpressively shortly head that briefly fizzed up after a rather rough pour. A thin soft collar stuck around and left thin sheets of lace down the glass.
S: I get soft notes of musty white wine, creamy brett, and faint peach. The nose is extremely light overall, but what’s there is lightly funky, slightly minerally, and lightly fruity.
T: Tart, funky, and lightly bitter. The brett and barrel character really shine and overshadows the extremely light and delicate flavors of the peach. The brett mixed with the vinous wine barrel create an extremely dry and musty finish. I get hints of butter oak, stone fruits, and tons of earth and damp basement.
M: Medium body, creamy carbonation, tingly and soft, with a buttery oak finish and bone dry aftertaste. There is a very mild tartness similar to fresh fruit, as well as a touch of earthy brett bitterness.
O: Overall a very solid beer with an awesome brett profile mixed with drying and vinous oak. The peach didn’t come through as strongly as I’d of expected, but what is there is good.
