On tap at my first visit to The Hop Grenade in Concord, CA.
Great west coast IPA. All the usual suspect flavors one would expect from your typical text book west coast IPA. Oranges, tangerines and grapefruit, all followed by a clean piney finish. Nothing stood out that made this stand out from the pack, except for the fact that it did do everything right. Nothing was out of place and it very well balanced everything in harmony. Everything was as it should be, in it's right place. I find this is under appreciated now a days.
What this beer also did very well was the mouthfeel. This is just a super clean and easy drinking beer. I mean, I could have put 4-5 of these back with too much ease. Just a very solid representation of the style. Highly recommended.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
