This collaboration beer with Doyle's Pub and Taproom was brewed for their 1st Anniversary and our 4th Anniversary. Heavily soured with lactobacillus and finished with Saison yeast, this beer is light, easy-drinking and nicely tart. The additions of apricot, peach and purple plum give this beer an amazing aroma and vibrant fruit flavor.

A: Big stone fruit aromas of peach and apricot, light plum and general fruitiness with a moderately light sourness.
A: Light yellow/orange color, opaque with a thin white head that quickly forms a very fine ring around the glass.
T: Lots of apricot and peach, light plum, with a general fruitiness, slight fruit sweetness, followed by a moderately light lingering sourness and a semi-dry finish.
M: Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation and a light juicy mouth-feel.
O: Tasty; the beer has a great stone fruit aroma and flavor, lightly juicy with a well balanced sourness.

10oz tulip on tap at THG.
A: Pours a nasty hazy yeast starter color with a thin cap of tan foam. For the style though, and knowing that this is a wild ale brewed with stone fruits, I'd say it looks pretty juicy.
S: Smells of a sweet candy and fruit gummies. Apricot is noticeable along with a touch of peach, but I'm also getting an interesting white grapefruit quality to the nose as well. Very candy-like overall and delicious smelling.
T: Delicious sweet and fresh stone fruit notes up front along with moderately tart fruit flavors followed by doughy yeast and tart and sweet gummy candy in the finish. I get the same delicious grapefruit flavors as the nose as well.
M: Medium-full body, creamy carbonation, light sourness to balance the sweet fruits. Drying finish. Tart but not killer, with a fruit-like tartness.
O: Nose is candy-like but the taste is full of sweet and lightly tart fruit. Not as juicy as expected, but the flavors are awesome. A great combination of fruit flavors.
