Saison Je' Blackberry is a barrel-aged version of our Saison. Aged in wine barrels with brettanomyces, lactobacillus, and heaps of blackberries for 6 months, it emerges tart and dry with notes of fruit, spice, and oak.

If I were pairing Mraz Brewing Company Saison Je' Blackberry with a song, my choice would have to be "Mommy, What's A Funkadelic?" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-53pFRA9IQ) because this beer takes funkiness to a psychedelic level. Barrel aged in wine barrels with brettanomyces and lactobacillus, it would also appear to be probiotic, thus maybe this glass is actually good for me! It's smoky and drier than the Napa Valley in the summertime, with aromas and flavors of tart blackberry (duh) and even cranberry and plum. Oh, and did I mention funkadelic? ;)
