Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Amber

This beer starts out as our Imperial Amber, a bigger and bolder version of our Amber Ale. It is then sent into bourbon barrels and a touch of Blis maple syrup is added to balance out the heat of the bourbon. We age this beer for 2-4 months and the end result is one of our most complex beers yet. The bourbon is certainly showcased in this beer, but it is balanced nicely by oak, roast, chocolate, and caramel notes making for a nice smooth finish.
