This beer begins as our Belgian Imperial Golden Strong and is then sent into Chardonnay barrels for 6 months with heaps of cherries. The end result is an extremely rich, robust, and vibrant brew. The traditional Belgian spices are balanced nicely by a touch of alcohol sweetness, a hint of Chardonnay and oak from the barrels, and delicious cherry character. This complex and full-bodied brew is best enjoyed by slowly sipping and savoring it as it warms in the glass.
