Cold War, takes our American Imperial Stout, Coercion to a whole new level! Most of the time manipulation is viewed as a negative term, but in beer manipulating ingredients can be an beautiful thing. Cold War was aged in a combination of local Dry Diggins Rye barrels and Redemption Rye barrels for 3 months, elevating this already epic beer to new proportions. Notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and a subtle hint of bourbon come through perfectly, while the velvety, soft mouthful almost like chocolate mousse, wraps it all up into a surprisingly approachable brew.
