Collaboration with Alaro Craft Brewery
The fourth of our six anniversary collaborations, Flocc To El Dorado, was developed and brewed with our friends at Alaro Brewing Company! This brew was inspired by an amazing thing called yeast flocculation that gives us brilliantly clear beer. Clear IPAs have a bad rap for being harsh and bitter, but they can be as easy-drinking and smooth as hazy IPAs. This Sacramento IPA (yes, we’re coinging a new phrase), is just that, a smooth, fruit-forward, and aromatic IPA, but it’s clear! In the spirit of Alaro’s Spanish style, we used Sabro and El Dorado hops giving it delicious notes of peach and tangerine with a touch of coconut on the finish.
