On Draught at the brewery.
A Cola/Mahogany colored pour just transparent enough to see the high clarity. A beige head that dissipates and produces slippery, spotty lacing.
Dark roasted and caramelized malt dominates the flavor profile, hints of smokiness, faint tobacco, coffee, molasses, vanilla, dark chocolate.
Light bodied mouthfeel, pleasant bitterness on the finish that turns tangy with a pleasant roasted aftertaste that fades quickly.
A very good and flavorful Dry Irish Stout!

Poured from a bomber bottle into a pint glass. Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Smells of chocolate and coffee, very inviting. Tastes of chocolate and coffee with very slight fruitiness, but a tad watery. Beer is light bodied and very easy drinking, even on a hot day. Overall, a very good beer.

Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.
A nice rich lathering if tiny two finger (if maybe three) finger head, light and very tan in color. Big thick puck with scattered lined lacing. Body color is a dark mahogany brown. Solid as a rock, and a great looking basic stout.
Nice basic aroma. Light grains, but soft nutty character on the nose and good dark malts nearly getting into dark chocolate. Aroma seems bigger almost getting into imperial flavors. Dark and warm, but with easy appeal. Neither rich nor grainy.
Palate takes a simple turn. Light bodied, almost into a watery milky texture but the flavors proceed with easy. Light roast, milky tones give a nice simple coffee roast flavor in the mid palate. Real nice roast char finish, nearly toasty but more of a hint towards ash and tobacco but not that flavorful. Good sensing hop bitterness on the aftertaste as well, slightly oily, but keeps it simple.
A solid simple dry stout. Nicely done, and would pick this over Guinness anytime.

A solid stout, if one that leaves something to be desired in terms of flavor. They got the texture right though - medium-full bodied with a creamy head. It was served a bit too cold on draft so no notable nose, but the flavor hits all the right notes of a classic dry stout, not unlike Guinness - a bit of bitter cocoa, roasted grain, little malt sweetness. I'm always happy to give local brews a try and for a good go-to dry stout, this is a good as any. I like my dark beers with a bit more flavor, but this one hit all the bases it needed to.

On nitro tap at the Milkhouse tap house. Beautiful beer to look at. Black with a very light tan head. Like the title this beer is very dry in the finish and quite hoppy bitter as well. Would like some additional chocolate or vanilla sweet notes to round this one out a little.

Overall, very impressed with this one. Had it on tap, 10 oz pour. Exactly what it claims to be a dry stout that is well....just plain delicious.
