Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.

Apricot orange body, slightly opaque and cloudy but with a little bit of bronze darkness in the middle. Topped off with a real nice three finger very creamy head. Perfect island puck and big retention. Lot of sheet and ring like lace to go with this, a very impressive looker.

Citrus and floral slightly notes, boom nicely for a great hop presence. Slightly soapy and perfume but not overly so as it does bring out some more floral garden senses. Light cream and caramel sweetness make a note as well, but it's an excellent hop front.

Palate just gets the job done greatly. Light bodied and airy malts, with a very creamy palate. Mid flavors burst of grapefruit rind and juice with hints of light touching malt sweetness. Big oily grapefruit citrus finish that lingers like breathmint on the finish. Moderate touches of biscuit and loading caramel, but it's controlled excellent grapefruit flavors all the way.

Wonderfully simple done beer. I can see myself drinking lots of this.

1.9 pint to becker. pale and golden with some clouds and a 2" head that just stayed and stayed. Hoppy mountain smell. Not sweet or bitter, but almost soapy? Excellent, smooth tasty feeling in the mouth going down. Delicious if a little muted. Very neutral taste, almost perfectly invisible, but somehow pleasurable. Bit of a bitter after taste, a good thing. Taste is not soapy (only smell), so it might be fermentation issue. This is heading in the right direction and with a tweak or two might be Milkhouse's best.
