German style hefeweizen with 100% Maryland ingredients with Thoroughbred 6-row pale malt and malted soft red wheat from our two local malt houses Dark Cloud Malting and Chesapeake Malting along with local Cascade and Brewers Gold hops. This local interpretation of our traditional Hefeweizen has a faint banana nose with soft clove on the palate that is rounded out with a malty wheat finish and a late honey sweetness from the local malt.
