This beer is a very well made wild ale. Funky in aroma, with the wild bacteria from an elm tree on the Stillpoint farm, and 100% Maryland grown, 15 months aged in barrel, has a really nice balance of the tartness, sweetness and hops. Only very light in sourness so very subtle there. Found this beer one of the best wild ales crafted in Maryland and one of the top beers I’ve had from Milkhouse, but they have been nailing the wild fermented stuff lately.
