This is one of 3 beers served that showcases the heirloom Monocacy Hop that is a local hop to the central Maryland area. Like nearly all Milkhouse beers, this Vienna Lager leans more towards bitter vs. sweet. The flavor is earthy. That's probably the best way to describe it. Decent beer and different in flavor and aroma from most any other Vienna Lager one may have had in the past.
