From Milkhouse website - FUNK ALERT! New beer release on the wild line! Brett Velvet Brettanomyces-conditioned Red Ale 6% ABV, ~25 IBU Brett lovers rejoice! This one’s been a loooooong time in the works! Inspired by our favorite Trappist ale, this malty ale was conditioned for over four years with several strains of Brettanomyces specifically chosen for a nice dry funk without the sharpness or acidity that comes in with other souring organisms. This traditional Saccharomyces fermentation combined with strains of Brett creates unmistakable and distinct wild flavors and a unique aroma.
