16 oz pour at the brewery. Pours nearly pitch black with a reddish hue around the edges. Nice head and lacing. Aroma and flavor feature dark malt, vanilla, and a nice citrus/grassy hoppiness. Overall a really solid black IPA.

On tap at Old Town Pour House.
Look: Pitch black with a nice tan foam head, dissipates quickly but leaves solid lacing.
Aroma: Rye with a slight roasted coffee scent and malts.
Taste: Roasted malt with a nice rye, definitely earthy.
Feel: Spicy rye with a nice roasted malt and hop finish.

look: one and a half fingers of frothy fine bubbled head like latte foam with huge lacing over a red tinged black ale
smell: rye without much else
taste: straight up sour rye with a light burned malt background and mild citrus aftertaste
feel: very smooth, well carbonated, and lighter than it looks
overall: not the best but it doesn't disappoint on rye flavor
no date on bottle so I have no idea how old this is

Not retired as far as I know, had this tonight at the Columbia Ale House. Not a bad rye brew but many better out there. Somewhat musty, drinkable, but better black IPAs and rye ales out there.
