22oz. bottle poured into a snifter. Color is typical of a porter; deep, dark brown, almost black. Minimal lacing and light carbonation. Not much to the smell, I really need to get my nose in the glass to get some chocolate, can't smell any coconut. Mouthfeel is very thin. Taste is superb! The coconut is there, but very subtle, taste of chocolate dominates. Overall: I took a chance on a style that I wasn't sure I'd like, by a brewery that I'd never heard of. For the price point ($7-$8 for the bottle)it's definitely worth trying once. I'd definitely pick up another bottle if I come across it again.
