Sparked by the pursuit of fresh, resinous, tropical, and dank, hoppy India Pale Ales, the Legalize It IPA series was cultivated to relax your body and open your mind. Scarce hop varietals will be specially sourced continually from choice growers around the globe. Our second strain is a collaboration between Strangeways Brewing and the retailer Kulture, which has five locations in Virginia purveying a plethora of products to help make you look and feel irie. This brew features an entirely new blend of dank and resiny hops (Azacca, Citra and Simcoe), evoking citrus and piney flavors and aromas both on full display. Now you’re feeling it. mon.

Poured from a crowler into a shaker pint, the beer is a bright, slightly hazed, caramel copper coloring with a tall, foamy, bubbly, clingy, off-white head. Aromas of cut grass, grapefruit, lemon zest, subtle pepper spice, pineapple, and dank resinous characteristics. Flavors are a solid blend of pineapple, caramel, grapefruit, wet grass, roasted overtones, pine pitch, and passion fruit. Very balanced blend of bitter grass and vegetal tones with the citrus and tropical fruit notes. Smooth, slick, oily, and light in mouth, with a tropical fruit salad and resinous aftertaste. The finish is slick, light, and slightly dry, with a solid bitter hops linger. Good beer.
