Poured on tap in a snifter, the beer is a slightly hazed, copper-gold coloring with a filmy, thin, white head. Aromas of wood spice and earth, lemon juice, white grape must, subtle honey, and sweet caramel. Flavors are tart and sour forward, with a solid blend of lemon juice, chardonnay sweet and dry, and citrus fruit notes, all on a cracker backbone. Light, dry, crisp bodied, with a sour and white wine blend in the aftertaste. Crisp, dry finish, with a slightly astringent linger. Good beer.
