The base beer is a traditional West Coast IPA; full-bodied, slightly sweet not overly bitter. Infused with dark roast cold brewed coffee, custom roasted for us by Armeno Coffee Roasters of Northborough MA. The result is a fusion of bright hop flavors, a strong malt base and subtle coffee notes. Deep golden brown in color, finishes crisp like a refreshing iced coffee
A uniquely wonderful balance of the best of your morning coffee and a tasty all day IPA.

Can poured into a snifter
“Beer 4 Bkfst”
Canned 1.18.19, opened 5.31.19
Frothy, two finger off white foam cap, good rentention (good) good lacings over a hazy copper liquid with sediment (not good) and good carbonation
Aroma is coffee, get a hop / year whiff on the end
Taste is coffee first, then hop notes, not bitter. I cannot pick out the hops as the coffee is dominant
Semi dry finish, almost puckering,
Nice beer

Drank mine straight from a can. Appears a darker brown color. It smells like a stout, and it tastes somewhat like a stout with a fair amount of citrusy hops. The coffee is quite strong in this one. At first, I wasn't sure what I thought but by the end of the first can, I quickly realized this is one of the best beers I've ever had -- it blends my favorites a stout and an IPA in one beer together and properly.

Pours a rich creamy nitro dense thick head, great retention and lacing, hazy and tons of sediment orange-tan color
Nose fresh nutty fruity coffee, cold brew rich coffee without tannins, hops come in early with mild citrus and grassy/floral, but then disappear quickly behind the coffee, mild grapefruit in the background
Taste soft creamy nitro with some mild sweet malty notes, then hops bringing more citrus, a hint of grapefruit, grassy floral flavors, medium bitterness, quickly turning to coffee again, soft cold brewed nitro coffee with more fruit characters and a little nutty coffee, they actually seem to homogenize pretty well. Drier finish, medium bitterness increasing a bit with spicy hop note
Mouth is med bod, soft creamy nitro bubbles
Overall not bad, went together a lot better than I expected, pretty enjoyable.

16 oz. can
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a nitro-huge, pure white head that settles down after a few minutes. Slightly hazy golden body with sticky lacing that lasts. Nose of slight dank hops and slighter coffee. Flavors of coffee and finish of hop and coffee bitterness. At the bitter end it resembles a "coffee light and sweet." Interesting, and I would have again.
Cheers!
