On draft at Howells and Hood, Chicago.
Sharp citrus zest. Apparently coriander and lemongrass. Vigorous carbonation. Dry.

Served in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Have I just missed these bottles near me, or have they just recently shown up? Who knows? Regardless, this stuff pours a clear straw-brass, populated by some minor particulates that fairly quickly settle to the bottom, topped by a healthy amount of white foam. The nose comprises orange peel, coriander, dry bread, and a twinge of soap. The taste brings in more of the same, heavy on the orange rind and coriander, and, unfortunately, some more soap. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sorta/kinda crisp finish. Overall, a nice enough brew, but the soapiness turns me off a bit. I wouldn't necessarily turn down a free bottle, but this doesn't look to be something I'll be buying again any time soon.
