Pours slightly hazy golden with minimal head
Aroma of sweet malt and slight grapefruit
Taste follows. Carbonation is very low
It's decent but I think the low carbonation doesn't help. It's certainly the poor relation to Schiehallion
Too expensive at £2.40 a bottle when Schiehallion is £2 everywhere

Bottled in a cork champagne cork stopped 750ml bomber bottle
Clear straw yellow, decent white head. Aroma of some caramel and wheat. Taste is citrus, caramel with a medium bitter finish. Slightly spicy aftertaste. Refreshing and tasty.

750ml bottle as a present:
Amber with a thin and slightly foamy looking, white lacing for a head that stays consistent throughout.
Light caramel and some sweetness on the nose upfront with touches of butter, some bread and a little biscuit too. There is some citrus hints and a little bitterness too.
Medium bitterness with some bread, sweetness & some butter too. There is a hint of vanilla, some caramel and a little citrus but all of these are quite light.
Medium with an almost thick feel that is slightly creamy. There is medium carbonation and a bittersweet finish.
Not a bad lager really and whilst similar to Schiehallion, sadly this one isn't quite in the same league. Still quite drinkable and one that was enjoyable.
