Gold, with a white head that lasts all the way to the bottom of the pint. Sulfury, slightly buttery nose with a dash of earthy citric hops.
Starts like it smells - consistency is an admirable trait, don'cha think? - then a brilliant hoppiness emerges. Grassy, spicy, citrusy, it's all there mid sip. Definitely the highlight of this brew. It finishes with a firm bitterness that grows through the sip and a lingering hop spiciness, alongside a slight steeliness. Somewhat creamy if a bit light mouthfeel. Not at all a bad session beer, but maybe a tad on the hoppy side for all day drinking.
