A - Beautiful golden colour, it looks really nice and crisp. The head though is bleached white and disappears rather immediatly.

L - Some citrus and floral smell. A bit crisp. And also a smell of wet cornflakes.

T - Not that much but a bit fruity with a touch of citrus. Some metallic tastes to it. Tends to be more bitter than sweet. Overall not that tasty allthough balanced.

M - Smooth, not very carbonated. Not really what you want for this type of beer.

D - Quite drinkable and balanced, allthough too tasteless. This could be an all-nighter though.

A: cloudy golden, white head, leaves some lacings on the glass.

S: Hoppy, citric fruits and floral notes.

T&M: Sweet, hoppy and fruity. Some bitterness but nothing overwhelming. Aftertaste is just bitter. Quite easy to drink and paired well with spicy meat.

O: Good beer but nothing outstandning.

A: Pour is light golden with a medium large white compact creamy head. Slow dissipation leaves decent lacings.

S: Sweet malt balanced with floral hops with lots of citric notes - oranges and some pineapple (American-style). Faint bitterhops.

T: Sweet malt, a bit to sweet. Citric and piney notes from the floral hops. Not in balance.

M: Aftertaste is pretty decent - but way to sweet. Body as well as carbonation is medium.

D: Way to sweet. Maybee it would improve after some time in my beer-cellar, probably not...

It is a pale looking beer, acasia honey comes to mind. The one finger head disappears almost immediately.

Dry grass and citrus hits the nose, but other than that it's pretty pale... There's something lively about the smell but it just does not get me excited.

The taste is mediocre. It's dry and bitter and you can feel the grass and citrus. It's sweet from honey and that's pretty much it.

As for the mouthfeel it's a bit thicker than expected and the alcohol is quite dominant.

I can still see myself drinking quite a few of this beer. It's not great, but it's good beer to bring to a party.

As for the style: I consider this one a strong blonde ale.

The colour is pale gold, the liquid clear. The two finger airy head is off-white. It sinks slowly leaving some lacing.

The smell is sweet and bitter. Some earthy/grassy British hops and hints of citric American hops. Some alcohol and a note of butterscotch. It is a bit unclean.

The taste is first bitter and fruity (ripe apples, apricots, oranges). Some unclean sweetness passes quickly, leaving room for a slowly growing sour bitterness. The aftertaste is quite simple with three dominating flavours: 1. A sharp sweet lightly frowsy flavour with hints of paper. 2. A plain quite strong growing chemical bitterness. 3. Warming alcohol. The finish adds some bouillon.

The carbonation is medium strong, the soft bubbles are small. The Liquid is mid-smooth.

A highly unbalanced beer, lacking body and complexity. I expect more from Harviestoun.

A - Pale amber color with a small head that leaves little lacing.

S - Really sweet, oranges, apricot, some banana, malt, a very faint hint of hops.

T - Malty at first, but quickly replaced by the bitterness from the hops. Bread. citrus, apricot, some grape, grass.

M - Medium body with medium carbonation.

Not impressed, the different tastes didn't mix well with each other.

A: Amber with a small head and some lacing.

S: Malt, Orange, Wet bread.

T: Citric notes, Hay, Caramel, Malt, Wet bread.

M: Very malty at first but end with a crisp bitterness. Carbonation is medium with tiny bubbles.

Ok, this wasn't so good. Waaay to high residual sweetness and tastes incomplete. Almost like vort with a dash of lemon and hops.
