Day 9 of 2020 Advent Beer Calendar. Pours deep red with hints of purple and a tiny white head. Smells of sour fruit, especially grapes. Tastes of sour grapes, but with sweet notes from the barrel aging. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

Had on tap. Violet clear body with no foam. Smell is exactly as promised sour grapes with some sweetness, some wine like qualities, flowers, and wood. Taste was refreshing and light, had a boozy grape skittle kind of flavor going with wood and booze to ground it against getting teeth rotting sweet. Body is thinner and dexterous, sneaky textured with the sour and sugar elements. Delivered on the vision
