22oz bottle, bottled on 6/1/17. Pours transparent reddish amber with a large sized head; lots of small carbonation bubbles. Odd smell of overly smoked peat and rubber with some hints of caramel and barrel. The taste follows with again an overdose of peat smoke, caramel, roasted malt, and barrel. Medium sweetness along with the intense smoke, but it does not balance out. Some flavor improvement after it warmed up. Overall, this has way too much peat smoke for the style and should probably be classified as a smoked beer. Something might have gone wrong in the brewing process. Would not recommend.
