MobCraft IPA pours a bronze color, with no head, at all. Aroma is filled with dart and grass notes. Flavors have a strong aggressive earthy hop cone flavor, and lots and lots of earth and some dirt notes. Flat, very flat. Overall, the flavor has some nice notes, but horrible feel, really hurts this beer.

Pours a mostly clear light golden color with a white head. Smell is citrus, pine bready malts and caramel. Taste follows nose with citrus and pine . Moth feel is slight bitters with pine resin/grapefruit. A mid west IPA.

This beer pours a semi-clear dark golden color, almost amber. The head, when poured from the can, is pretty minimal. It is white, but not too long lasting.
The aroma is really making me happy. I'm getting a lot of pine in it, and very little citrus.
Taste - I am getting just a ton of pine here from the hops, and just a very faint hint of citrus. Pine is the star here from the hops.
The body is quite sticky, and resin feeling. Hops linger.
Damn good older school IPA. I am a fan, but it's hard to find in this day and age.

Poured from a mini IPA into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of sweet grain, inviting but with not much hop note. Tastes of sweet grain with nice grassy hop notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a good beer.

Appearance: Pours a semi-clouded light pale orange, with a clinging white head. SRM of 8-9. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of grapefruit, green grape, and hints of citrus. A lot of herbs gives it an overripened green grape aroma. (3.25)
Flavor: Flavor follows the nose with more herbs. A lot of green grape again with a strong herbal and floral component. I get a lot of wildflowers, onion atop a bowl of crushed green grapes. Some orange citrus underneath. Astringent, and some sour herbal bitterness lasts and to tame the grape sweetness. It gets more herbal and astringent as it warms. (3.50)
Feel: Medium bodied. Minimal carbonation and very flat. Bitter herbal astringency on the tongue. (3.0)
Can't really compare to any other beers. Compared to Lagunitas: Completely different. More herbal and sweet grape.
Overall: Herbal hop flavors backed by green grape sweetness. Sort of weird. It's got twang and uniqueness and I think will please the herbal hop-heads. The herbal component is cool and I think more breweries should explore it. Note: The flavor of this beer is much better than the final rating due to the poor aroma and body. (Final Rating: 3.57 Okay).

Can't believe the reviews I'm reading.
Just bought my first 6-pack after a Mobcraft tasting session. I feel this Mobcraft, WI. IPA is an outstanding hazy IPA. Non pasteurized (obviously still live) and mostly UNfiltered. Add to this a reasonable ABV level, and you have an excellent American IPA that you can enjoy anywhere it's distributed, for any occasion, or no occasion. I'm only now longing to try it On tap.
The Mobcraft Brewery is based in Milwaukee, and they tell me the hoppy hops they use for this outstanding ale are local hops.
So Let's call it an excellent Midwestern American Hazy IPA. ~ OK. by now you've guessed that I am addicted to hazy, unfiltered American IPA. And this one is a great, great IPA.

Pours a slightly cloudy straw yellow with a legitimate tall white cap that recedes quickly but leaves nice lacing. Aroma is over ripe citrus and pine. Flavor is malt forward and bitter pine in the finish. Very little citrus. Feel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Overall not a beer I would seek out.
