Day 15 of the 2020 Advent Calendar. Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours deep red with a small white head. Smells of brighter fruit with nice oak notes. Tastes of syrupy caramel, fruit, and oak notes. Beer is medium bodied with good carbonation, and it is still easier on the drinkability. Overall, a very good beer.

This is the regular version, not the special reserve rye whiskey version. tested from a 12oz can with a born on date of 7.6.20 ABV is 9.3%. 40 IBU
Nice looking beer: dark amber body with a decent head that lasts a while, micro amount of lacing.
Smell: bourbon and sweet malt
Taste: This beer tastes good at 50 to 65 degrees. Bourbon, oak/vanilla, alcohol, sweet malt with a touch of honey and floral notes. caramel and maybe a micro hint of dark fruit. a sweet and smooth malt base. The Bourbon is there but doesn't overpower the base bock. It maybe too sweet for some people but not me.
feel: solid malt syrupy
I like it, I sipped on one can for a long time. beers like this are hard to put numbers on. This is a sipping beer. Should be good for the cold weather ahead.
Brewery notes: --Good things take time! This is a barrel aged beer. We are hoping to release it in Mid 2020--Eissturm - German for “ice storm” this Eisbock, aged in a blend of oak and bourbon barrels, is the perfect blend of malty notes and hints of bourbon barrel character. Though never frozen, this Bock is sure to warm your insides. Hellabock Lager Yeast
Malt Bill: 70% Vienna Malt, 10% Flaked Barley, 10% Wheat DME, 2.5% Honey Malt, 2.5% Caramunich 60L, 5% Special B
